Hello,Just working on the family tree. My Grandad was Charles Aubrey Feeke, and I think he's buried in Litcham. He never spoke of his father but apparently he was also called Charles. I've been contacted by some South African Feeke's who wondered about any connections. However the dates on this stone are a little out if this is my great grandad as I'm sure my grandad was born in 1927, making his dad 13 if this is him, not totally out there I know but I also think my grandad had 2 older sisters, so mmmm to that theory. I know from what I've dug up that the family name has its roots in deepest Norfolk. I know we show up on 1800's census's aswell but all the names are recycled through Arthur, Charles, Fred and even James. The south African connections seem to think its there great to great great grandad who went there at the start of the 1900's, and strangely enough their christian names tended to be Fred, Charles and Arthur. I suppose the grail stone for me would be to find a stone that says here lies ...., beloved son of, husband of. leaving behind.... That way I could at least clear up which Fred/Arthur and which Charles the census's are talking about. My money is on my grandads dad/uncles generation being the link, but any help from here would be a bonus.thanks for any help/pointers you may haveJames
